Anete, Yes, sorry. It is not a wifi-radar bug... but I did not know where else to put it... the fact that users of older Prisim 2.5 chipsets need to upgrade firmware should be recorded someplace in install documentation... I leave that to you guys.... All I can tell you is that a person needs to upgrade to recent firmware to get wifi-radar and other apps that depend on scanning to work... and the most recent IBM/Lenovo firmware is not recent enough. Perhaps add an error message saying to users that they should check their chipset firmware when wifi-radar has problems... T. Perhaps the following about ACPI and ATI should be moved to a separate bug report... T. Tim (et.al.) Regret to inform you Thinkpad A31p suspend/resume problem still persists (tempted to say it is a little improved however... but that is subjective) Downloaded current iso daily today April 3. Replaced regular IDE drive on my A31p with a spare 10GB drive, did a clean install from CD made with ISO. Made no changes to stock system except answering install questions about timezone, system name, username, etc. All rest defaults. Failed three times out of about 25 suspend/resume cycles: 1. Using suspend from Gnome failed to resume after about 5 cycles. Screen black 2. Using suspend from Gnome failed to resume after about 5 (perhaps 7) cycles. Thin verticle green line about 1 inch high and 1 pixel wide moved when trackpoint moved. 3. Third failure after about 15 cycles using Fn + F4 (suspend key) Screen was full of a a repeating pattern of four dots. In all cases system was still running fine, and CTL+ALT+BS caused activity, but display still blank or garbled. In all cases when resuming from suspend state (successful or failed) screen was garbled for a moment before ATI display controller was (I assume) reset. On normal resume the password box appeared, on the three failures got bad password sound on pressing Enter key, but display remained blank or garbled. As requested attached are the output of lspci, lsusb, dmidecode, etc. I also mailed you (tim) a tar file of syslog, messages, debug, and whatnot FYI. Hope this helps.
