Binary package hint: linux-image-
Hi,
I see a lot of reports about this kernel not booting - seems to not see IDE or partitions. I think it best you revert it - pull it off, etc. until you figure out the problem. If Feisty was officially launched and this was released there would be an uproar.

You said that you'd seen several error messages; do you still have access to the computer that showed this error?
