Bug Description
Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.20
A user has an Asus W6F series laptop with an ICH7 Audio chipset which fails to produce any sound under Linux. It works in Windows, but neither in Edgy (installed system) or Feisty (2007-03-16 Live CD). I'm attaching the usual DebuggingSoundP

We seem to have several other cases where sound has stopped working with Realtek ALC*** mixers. I'm going to start marking them as duplicates.
