Bug Description
Binary package hint: linux-image-
I can't get any sound from the spdif output. aplay -l shows two devices:
**** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices ****
card 0: NVidia [HDA NVidia], device 0: CONEXANT Analog [CONEXANT Analog]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 0: NVidia [HDA NVidia], device 1: Conexant Digital [Conexant Digital]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
Playing on hw:0,0 works fine on front speakers, but hw:0,1 doesn't work. I also have a IEC958 switch in the mixer, but using that one doesn't make any difference.
Spdif works in Vista.
