Bug Description
Hi,
I decided to file a new bug for this because this appears to be a regression from Edgy to Feisty.
Using Edgy, I did not have any problem suspending/resuming my laptop. After upgrading to Feisty (release, not the beta), if I try to resume my laptop while in suspended state, I get a whole lot of text/error messages and nothing happens. Since I am fairly new to Linux/Ubuntu, I don't know how to collect relevant information that would be helpful to Ubuntu developers. Please let me know.
I am using a HP dv2000 laptop with an AMD64 processor.
Thanks!

Among other things, the last error messages I see on screen are:
scsi 0:0:0:0: rejecting I/O to dead device
EXT3-fs error (device sda2) : ...
(sda2 is my root partition)
