2007-04-21 00:10:49 Rolando Blanco description Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.20 Hello, I did use Edgy, with 2.6.17, but did have a lot of problems with the Novatel Merlin V620, then I migrate to Feisty with 2.6.20-15. The card was detected and I can connect well, but in few seconds this one disconnect. I Don't know if this one broke the connection for the a lot flow of data or if it is for the time. May anyone help me with it, Please! 2007-04-30 02:25:15 C de-Avillez linux-source-2.6.20: statusexplanation Please attach here the output of the /var/log/syslog showing one such connection. There is a good chance this is being caused by PPP defaulting to require echo responses from the provider (Verizon, for example, does not answer echo requests); when PPP is configured as such, and the link provider does not answer, then PPP drops the connection.
