Bug Description
I am installing Xubuntu (just a minimal console system) on a old server with a Adaptec AAA-131U2 SCSI card.
The installation process go fine.
But when i choose to reboot the system, this appear on the screen:
---------
Sending SIGKILL to all processes
Please stand by while rebooting the system
[......
----------
And the system remain completely frozen.. unless i manually turn it off.
I'm curious know if this is caused by the "synchronization of the SCSI cache" or by the next step of the installation?
For you information, after a manual turning off and turning on the machine, on the screen, during Ubuntu boot i get this message,
"ACPI: Unable to locate RSDP"
So maybe this can be related to the problem i have during installation.
And.. after using the installed system, if I execute "sudo reboot", the system doesn't reboot.. but remains frozen.

Thanks for your bug report. Could you please add the output of 'lspci -vvn', 'dmidecode' and 'dmesg' to your bug report. Additionally which version of Xubuntu are you using? Is it Edgy or Feisty?
