Bug Description

Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.17

The SCSI module a100u2w is not compiled in an Ubuntu kernel by default. This means certain SCSI adapters do not work.

# CONFIG_SCSI_INIA100 is not set

$ modinfo a100u2w
modinfo: could not find module a100u2w

Hi Alan,

We are currently reviewing bug reports regarding older kernels. I don't believe this report meets the criteria for a stable release update and am marking this as "Won't Fix". However, this issue should be resolved in the latest 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon release. I've verified that the kernel configs enable this option. Thanks.
