Binary package hint: ubuntu-desktop
Hy,
On an IBM T60 I've migrated to the beta edgy. After reboot I get a lot of these warnings after a while:
"ata1: translated ATA stat/err 0x51/40 to SCSI SK/ASC/ASCQ 0x3/11/04" .
Basically the system manages to boot up to the graphical login, which never shows up.
I've tested the hard-drive on Windows with PC Doctor 5 and surface scan didn't return a thing. |

I've tested the hard-drive on Windows with PC Doctor 5 and surface scan didn't return a thing.
Forgot to mention: I may start in safe mode, I login but xinit + startxfce4 or kde locks the PC in the same way. |
