thank you tonfa...edited fstab and conf.d resume with value from mkswap
- regenerated initrd - and now it all works...

for anybody else reading this with the same issue regenerate your initrd
with "update-initramfs -u" after you have edited
"/etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/resume" as tonfa described...
