Bug Description
Last night, I upgraded my g4-based Mac Mini from 6.06LTS to edgy, and to my surprise, the machine has begun to lock up. It has so far locked up twice, at almost exactly 1 hour after booting. I believe the bcm43xx driver is to blame, because of what I saw in syslog. I'm using the edgy-cafuego firmware for the bcm43xx driver (which is another difference).

Could you please include attach a copy of /var/log/kern.log to this bug report using its web page?
It is unlikely that it's the bcm43xx driver, as it manages to restart the controller correctly. It could be a memory problem, in which case following the instructions at https:/ /help.ubuntu. com/community/ MemoryTest should indicate something.
Thanks.
