I'm seeing the same issue-wireless works for a while, then shuts down. I have a Dell D620 with the Broadcom 4311, using the 686 kernel and nvidia driver. I also added the line: blacklist bcm43xx to /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist in case there was a conflict with the native Broadcom driver, which doesn't yet work with this chip, but that didn't help.
