We are closing this bug report as it lacks the information, described in the previous comments, we need to investigate the problem further. However, please reopen it if you can give us the missing information and feel free to submit bug reports in the future. Also testing suspend to RAM with the Gutsy Tribe 2 Live CD would be very helpful.
2007-07-16 16:47:02 Brian Murray description Hi, I have bought a Sony Vaio SZ1XP and installed Ubuntu Dapper 6.06, but the Sleep option does not seems to appear anywhere. I tried the "Suspend " and "Hibernate" but they do not work properly. Here is some information about kernel and packets: Linux gordy 2.6.15-22-686 #1 SMP PREEMPT Sun May 7 16:37:57 UTC 2006 i686 GNU/Linux acpi-support 0.82 Thanks for your help, Dani.
