Bug Description

I've been having problems with the usb ports on my laptop for a while now. At first I was using breezy and noticed my usb mouse would just randomly turn off. I got annoyed. After that I switched to gentoo but got sick of installing everything (works nice for servers, not for desktop machines). But I never had a problem with the usb. So I switched to dapper. I still have the same problem the usb just stops. here's all the info I have gathered please take a look. I have tried rmmod on all the usb then running a modprobe on the same modules. sometimes it works other times it doesn't. This issue isn't only limited to usb mice anything plugged into the usb port falls apart. I've also tried to file a bug report for this but only got error messages when I tried to do so.
thanks for looking

well after some playing around I was able to get the pc to boot in with irqpoll but that doesn't seem to have helped. this is the error I get now.

Fixed?

just found another boot option while searching the forums so more "noapic" seems to have corrected my issue I'll leave this open until I have run the laptop for a while just to test.
