Bug Description
Sound is not working on default dapper install. Dell Inspiron uses Intel HDA with STAC9200 chipset.
Note: the original reporter indicated the bug was in package 'alsa'; however, that package was not published in Ubuntu.

Which milestone(s) did you test (Flight 1/2/3/4/5/6/7, Beta 1/2)? Is the problem still exhibited in current Dapper?
