Comment 27 for bug 249340

I tried the steps above and I could not get it to work. X-server failed and I tried the repair utility. It told me that some packages were not installed properly. When doing a sudo dpkg --configure -a it would fail several packages because it looks like it could not resolve the URL to download the packages. I was so frustrated after hours of trying to get it to work that I ended up blowing away the whole install and reloading Gutsy from my CD. :(

Hope it gets fixed. I would really like to move over to Hardy.
