Bug Description
If I don't boot with noapic, I get the following message between "uncompressing
kernel..." and "starting ubuntu":
[4294671.410000] .. MP-BIOS bug: 8254 timer not connected to IO-APIC
(the number within square-brackets varies)
The system boots fine but after a while different stuff stops working (such as
usb-mouse, gstreamer starts crashing and eventually the computer get stuck).
The computer is an asus amd64-laptop running the i386-version of Ubuntu breezy
badger.
What can I do to help troubleshoot this problem?

I don't seem to be very good at searching bugzilla, I reported this one previously.
