Does not support root on LVM

Bug Description

After upgrading from linux-image-2.6.12-9-386 to linux-image-2.6.12-10-386 my system fails to boot with a kernel panic, cannot mount root filesystem. I run LVM, so I suspect the new package's initrd does not have LVM support. Choosing the previous kernel from the grub menu works fine.
