Binary package hint: update-manager
This is rather urgent. I think that it may only affect people with Nvidia video cards and viewsonic monitors (and maybe even less than that).

SO what I determined what needs to happen if one has installed linux-restricte
UNINSTALL linux-ubuntu-

INSTALL linux-ubuntu-
INSTALL linux-restricte
From doing the above, I was able to get my video card working and wifi. I don't quite know how to fix it, but it seems to be an interdependency issue.
