Hi,
I finally solved the problem by removing all existing drivers and the installing latest ATI drivers, using option --buildandinstallpkg hardy.
Simply follow the steps on:

http://wiki.cchtml.com/index.php/Ubuntu_Hardy_Installation_Guide

Hope it helps

Thanks josecoves finally I did it, it's working better but not like it should, I need to learn more skills to work in this way because I'm new linux user,
I just downloaded the last diver for my card from the ATI site and I can not run it because I need a superuser permissions so, could you tell me how can get superuser permissions to run the newest driver for my card?

Thanks a lot!!

Hi,

Simply open a terminal, then add command "sudo" before the name of the file to execute. Before executing, you should check whether you have the proper permissions or not (755 would be fine).

For instance:

$ sudo ./ati-driver-installer-9-3-x86.x86_64.run

or
$ sudo sh ati-driver-installer-9-3-x86.x86_64.run

hope it helps
