OK, I will close this bug since you can't provide information as to whether this is fixed, and nobody else has confirmed it with the same hardware in any Ubuntu release. Please reopen it if you can give us the missing information (like if you try the TwinView with your other identical laptop and find it has the same problem), and don't hesitate to submit bug reports in the future.
