Bug Description

Binary package hint: nvidia-glx-new

After removing or purging the nvidia-glx-new package the flagfile /lib/linux-restricted-modules/.nvidia_new_installed remains in place which makes you unable to load any module called "nvidia" but the one in the nvidia-glx-new package. This could make a user's life quite hard getting X back up and running again. This problem was also in feisty and still remains in gutsy.
