I couldn't see the vertical lines in the screenshot on one of my monitors but I do see them on another monitor. As you are using a mobile chipset does following any of the tips on http://us.download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86/1.0-9755/README/appendix-i.html help the issue?
