Bug Description

I've upgraded to the 2.6.9-1-k7 package and all glx applications now die. 2.6.9
meant upgrading the nvidia-glx to 6629 release so my guess is it's something to
do with that. Applications seem to segv shortly after loading the nvidia-tls
library.

I'll attach the output of strace -f glxinfo and a backtrace

Cheers,

Andrew

Same problem here. /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libglx.so was a dead link,
so glx never loaded. I fixed the symlink to point to
/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libglx.so.1.0.6629 but now X server hangs on
"(II) Initializing extension GLX".

Note that my nvidia-glx was upgraded prior to me installing 2.6.9 (I'm fairly
certain), which made nvidia unusable in 2.6.8 (due to mismatched versions for X
and kernel drivers).

On an up-to-date Hoarty with 2.6.9 kernel for 686 : same problem. All glx apps
segfaults.
"Fixed" using the last official Nvidia-driver.
