Bug Description
Binary package hint: linux-generic
After installing the 2.6.28-11 and -13 kernels, I experienced disk corruption. The machine would work fine, sometimes for hours, but a reboot would end up with a corrupted file system. EXT3 couldn't just replay the log -- I actually ended up with a ton of files in lost+found & corruption in files on disk.
Reverting to 2.6.27-11 fixes the problem. I also tried 2.6.31-2 from Karmic and didn't have any problems.
System76 laptop
4GB RAM
separate / and /home partitions, both ext3, both got corrupted.
