Bug Description
After successfully installing Intrepid amd64 on an HP DL 585 G5, I am unable to boot. I receive "illegal opcode" on a red screen. It looks like the Linux kernel has not yet started to boot when I see this. Possibly an issue due to interaction with the P400 storage controller.
UPDATE: this appears to have been a fluke. After installing RHEL and doing some odd hardware voodoo with HP tech support, I'm past this problem. I now have a different problem instead, but I'll file another bug for that titled "Grub prompt when booting on HP DL585 G5"

I've the same problem, but on a DL360 G6 with 8.04 and 10.04beta.
But, if i install 9.10 and upgrade to 10.04, all works fine.
