Toshset no longer supported by 2.6.19-6-generic

Toshset, a utility for configuring toshiba laptop functions, no longer works in 2.6.19-6-generic. Without this, some toshiba laptop users (such as myself) will be unable to use bluetooth, which requires toshset to switch on.

The toshiba and toshiba_acpi modules appear to load correctly (from dmesg)

Output from toshset is as follows (blank lines basically)

This was / is fine in both edgy and dapper. I am currently using feisty and have tried toshset 1.71 (feisty default) and 1.72 (latest source version available.

i tried with linux-source-2.6.20 version : 2.6.20-2.2
and the last patch "toshiba_acpi-dev_toshiba_test5-linux_2.6.17.patch " found at http://memebeam.org/free-software/toshiba_acpi/toshiba_acpi-dev_toshiba_test5-linux_2.6.17.patch

I'll add this patch to feisty. However, be warned. We are trying to remove as much patching from stock kernel code as possible.

I urge users of this patch to send requests to it's author to have it merged into the mainline kernel. I don't like having to chase this stuff down just as much as the next person.

Appears to be resolved with kernel 2.6.20-4.
