[This is an automated message. Apologies if it has reached you inappropriately.]

This bug was reported against the linux-meta package when it likely should have been reported against the linux package instead. We are automatically transitioning this to the linux kernel package so that the appropriate teams are notified and made aware of this issue.

If this bug really is a bug in the linux-meta package you can move it back to linux-meta and set the Status to Confirmed, or contact us on the #ubuntu-kernel channel on the FreeNode IRC server. Thanks.

affects: linux-meta (Ubuntu) → linux (Ubuntu)

Folks, please have a look at this, there are no backport wireless modules for the current kernel 2.6.35-23-generic in the repository.

Can not file a bug against linux-backports-modules-wireless-2.6.35-23-generic as it is missing in the repos. Thus requesting to move back to linux-meta for further investigations.

Confirmed that the version in the archive for Karmic are consistent. Looking at the latest symptoms they are for Maverick but maverick is showing 2.6.35-24 as the current version of both the kernel and LBM.

Latest report confirmed as a transient issue, as Karmic is also consistent at this time I will close this one off.
