Bug Description
Binary package hint: linux-image
with todays update from intrepid-proposed (which update the kernel to 2.6.27-11.23), The applet to change brightness with the Fn keys does not work anymore. The applet does show up and the colour bar actually changes size when I type Fn+F5 or Fn+F6, but the brightness does not change.
I join my dmesg log.

Sébastien, this problem is already discussed in bug #311716 and I will mark this one as a duplicate of it. I am currently trying to get a resolution and will post kernels to test there. I would be glad if you can join testing with those.
