[Hardy] Kernel Update and Blank TTY

Bug Description

In update from 2.6.24-11-generic to 2.6.24-12-generic TTYs are blank.

I use VGA=xxx in kernel options with framebuffer vesafb and fbcon in initramfs modules.

Same here. I tested it again with http://releases.ubuntu.com/releases/8.04/ubuntu-8.04-beta-server-i386.iso
I did not touch anything, i.e. I did not put "vga=xxx" in boot parameter, just booted it, when I saw the language to choose, I used ctrl-alt-f[1-6] to switch them. If I switched more than 2 ttys, it's blank.

Will this be fixed in the next kernel release? Does anybody know what's the change in version -12 from -11 that is causing this problem?

Problem apparently solved in new version of kernel.
