lenovo thinkpad carbon x1 7th gen: system freeze when laptop is awoken

Bug Description

After clean install, if I close laptop and open it, I see login screen, but I cannot finish entering because after typing password and pressing enter whole system freezes.
While using linux 4.15 kernel (linux-generic package) everything is ok.
