Bug Description
My surface pro 3 is experiencing random but frequent freezes on 4.8 (ubuntu hwe) kernels. This seems related to 2.4 GHZ wifi, as it happens more often when downloading data via 2.4 GHz networks.
I was able to see this error (file skb_over_panic.txt attached) via ssh, as it is not written to /var/log/syslog anymore.
First this error occurs:

Immediately hereafter:

After this the devices completely locks up, and it has to be shutted down by pressing the power button for about 10s.
