No sound from integrated speakers on Inspiron 7537, Realtek ALC3223

Bug Description

Sound on my Dell 7537 doesn't come out of the integrated laptop speakers (works fine on Windows).
Audio through headphones works perfectly.

The issue came out with a fresh install of Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS.
