[Dell XPS13 9333] Screen flickering when trying 12.04.4 Live Desktop under UEFI

Bug Description

Problem:

Unable to use 12.04.4 live flash drive to install Ubuntu through UEFI mode, desktop screen flickering, and VT consoles too.

Workaround:

This does not happen under legacy BIOS mode.

Tried add "nomodeset" kernel parameter during grub menu fixed this problem.

Further investigating:

14.04 live daily build does not have this problem.

12.04.4 with later kernel does not have this issue, after version 3.11.0-17 .
