2010-08-15 20:08:04 PhracturedBlue description When trying the 2.6.35~lucid1 backport kernel in 10.04, the Audio device doesn't auto powerdown after a reboot. powertop reports: An audio device is active 100.0% of the time: hwC0D0 Realtek ALC272X Once I mute/unmute the audio, the device will drop into power-savings mode when unused, and powertop report 'device is active 0% of the time' when it isn't in use, and will stay this way until the next reboot.
