Bug Description
At job, after upgrading many Lubuntu 16.04 LTS 64 bit systems from 4.10 to 4.13 they are (most of them) unstable.
Acer TravelMate B117-M (SSD disk) freeze at boot or show errors at startup such:
unexpected irq trap at vector
similar to https:/
At home (no signed kernel, old machine) my VirtualBox freezes also the machine, as explained at https:/

Absolutely! I got errors on my Desktop PC with Nvidia GPU during the upgrade when it was building modules for the graphics card. When I updated my laptop with intel graphics, things were not stable (graphics-wise). Reverting to kernel 4.10.0-xx things are back to normal. Had to remove on both computers the newer kernel and anything related to HWE
Terrible upgrade, I see many posts and bug reports in the last hours with everyone having similar issues...
