Frequently failed to boot up Ubuntu

Bug Description
Ubuntu frequently fails to boot up, it hangs between GRUB and login splash screen. I need to force turn off the computer and restart repeatedly to get it success. Sometimes I need to select older kernel to succeed, sometimes selecting older kernel doesn't help.
