This had been previously discussed in bug #559065, this bug is splitting the suspend/resume issue out.

I got a patch from upstream to fix this suspend/resume issue. Could you please help me test it:

kernel package:

Tobin,

Could you please help to test this again on Babbage?

Lee Jones just fixed a suspend/resume bug in his T61 which is related to SD/MMC. So please try this on Babbage:
--
echo "SUSPEND_MODULES=\"sdhci sdhci_pci\"" | sudo tee -a /etc/pm/config.d/suspend_modules
--

And try suspend/resume. to see whether it works or not.

Thanks a lot,
-Bryan

No, this doesn't appear to help matters.

Tested suspend on Babbage board C with 2.6.31-608-imx51. One of the power LEDs stays on and cannot resume.

Hans,

Thanks a lot. It looks like it suspend successfully, but cannot resume.

Could you try upstream kernel 2.6.36+rc3?

Bryan,

Would love to try, but I can't find imx51 version online and have never
cross-compiled before.

Do you have the kernel lying around or some clues on what to do?

Thanks,

Hans
