Bug Description

we want to be able use powertop on armel hardware (at least for the bits and pieces where it can gather data on non x86 HW).
for this to function CONFIG_TIMER_STATS needs to be enabled. please enable it in the next upload.

Ogra,

I already enabled it in my git tree:
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/git?p=roc/ubuntu-lucid.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/lp513241_config_timer_stats

And please download my kernel packages to test on your side:
http://people.canonical.com/~roc/kernel/lp513241_config_timer_stats/

I tested powertop on my board, it works with the new kernel.
