I have no problem using this device on Ubuntu 19.10, works well.

So, After I Format and Install Ubuntu 20.04 stopped working
I Used to use Ubuntu 19.04 and linux-firmware 1.183 - Wifi - OK

Now, I tried Ubuntu 20.04 with linux-firmware is 1.187 and it stopped working.
After I tried Ubuntu 20.04 with linux-firmware is 1.187.1 and it stopped working.

Now I need Using Ubuntu 20.04 with linux-firmware is 1.183 and it working well,
But I need hold linux-firmware.

So after I download 19.10's linux-firmware package from the ubuntu repositories, which is at 1.183. After I installed and apt-marked hold the package, so that it would not be upgrade, and rebooted, my wifi worked well.

Please still run `sudo apport-collect 1886337` with linux-firmware >= 1.187 installed. People would need information at the malfunction moment for further investigation. That is:

  1. Install l-f 1.187 or newer,
  2. Prepare networking when wifi is not available, e.g. ethernet,
  3. Shutdown computer, unplug power cable for 1 minute, and then boot up again,
  4. When confirmed wifi is still not available, run that apport-collect command to upload all the necessary information.

The only difference between 1.183 and 1.187 is https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux-firmware.git/commit/?id=6d191544e8d516455a6c2c0568d01f8a800bf77c, and kernel v5.4 adds hardware rfkill support as commit 42884b63182d ("ath10k: add support for hardware rfkill") backported in bug 1858166, so far there is no commit marked Fixes it.

Please test following mainline kernels, with 1.187 firmware of course. Let's see if anything was missed:
* https://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v5.4.44/
* https://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v5.8-rc4/

For example you need to download following two packages for testing v5.8-rc4:
* amd64/linux-image-unsigned-5.8.0-050800-generic_5.8.0-050800.202007052030_amd64.deb
* amd64/linux-modules-5.8.0-050800-generic_5.8.0-050800.202007052030_amd64.deb

Check https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/MainlineBuilds for more details.

No Erros! But this Command does not Work

"If no errors show up, reboot while holding Shift then select "Advanced options for Ubuntu", then select and boot into the new entry that looks something like:

Gus, Today I format my notebook, again,again, but in this time the WIFI woks well on Ubuntu 20.04.
I do not know why I had problems when I tried update the Ubuntu 19.10 version to Ubuntu 20.04.

There is no problems.

Everything is ok !

Thank you.
