I have win 8.1 and ubuntu 14.04 installed on my lenovo ideapad yoga 2 13.

I'm getting a solid wifi connection on win 8.1 but not so much on ubuntu. The connection on ubuntu works for the first few minutes before dropping dead. I get the connection back only after rebooting or by placing the system close to the router.
