Bug Description

Binary package hint: linux-firmware-nonfree

I couldn't find a policy for inclusion of new/more firmware in linux-firmware-nonfree. But to get my DVB-T stick working ("TCM 234292", recognized as "Dposh DVB-T USB2.0") I needed to add the firmware dvb-usb-dposh-01.fw. It took me a while to find it, but in the end I found a Mandriva bug report at <https://qa.mandriva.com/show_bug.cgi?id=40582> which points to <http://<email address hidden>/msg22583/dvb-usb-dposh-01.fw>. The firmware from there seem to work fine (no idea why it reports an error 64).

I digged up the originally posted firmware. It was attached to this <http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.linux.drivers.dvb/32423> announcement
this <http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git;a=commit;h=f8e0bd5db4cc636fec35264c2396adb1b633ee05> is the commit adding support for that device. The firmware is also available here <http://www.rasterburn.org/~aet/dvb-usb-dposh-01.fw>.
