Bug Description

This chip will be natively supported in Ubuntu when the firmware is available.

The firmware is provided by realtek here : http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=48&PFid=48&Level=5&Conn=4&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false&Downloads=true#2722

I cannot reproduce this bug. With 12.04.1 the rtlwifi firmware is available and loaded. however performance/stability is poor and you need the latest 0006.0514.2012 version to work correctly.
