Bug Description

Binary package hint: alsa-utils

Using the 2.6.32 lucid kernel I'm unable to use the NVidia HDMI output (snd_hda_codec_nvhdmi).
aplay -L just returns no known card.

Using the Ubuntu kernel builds of 2.6.33+ it works just fine.

Please find my alsa configuration (collected by alsa-info.sh) at:

The alsa-backport modules don't to put things right either.

I alsos noticed that the nvhdmi-module doesn't get loaded automatically with 2.6.32 kernel.
With the 2.6.33+ kernel it gets loaded automatically

As I wrote in comment #1 the backports-modules do not solve this issue!
