Bug Description

This bug affects linux-backports-modules-2.6.24-21-generic in hardy (LTS) on amd64 architecture

This bug seems to be the same as https://lists.linux-foundation.org/pipermail/bugme-new/2008-September/019730.html.
The fix is included in linux 2.6.27 : http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git;a=commit;h=f0b9f5cb4adcec9424142592ca7bf024fe6c91a9

The system is a dell laptop e6400 with 4Gb of ram. The module is loaded, but not functionnal, no tework scanning, no association.
Booting with kernel command line parameter 'mem=2147483648' the driver works fine
