Bug Description

The problem was introduced in Linux kernel version 5.4, and was fixed in 5.6. So only users of the 5.4 and 5.5 kernels will see this problem, which means Ubuntu 20.04 at the moment.

The fix was backported to upstream stable 5.4, so it should be picked up via stable updates. This bug is primary to ensure the fix is not missed.

I see the fix is already included in Focal, from a different commit. This bug can be closed.
