Bug Description

Binary package hint: linphone

For some reason, there does not appear to be an option to start Linphone-3 minimized? I'm using version 3.1.2 on the 9.10 alpha.

Pretty much every other messaging/communications client has this option, as these are programs you want to start automatically and live in the system tray.

Please add this to the wishlist.

There is an --iconified option quite some time.
At least since Precise.

Shouldn't this be closed?

While they did add an iconified option since this request, that option is broken. It regressed in 3.5 to not actually minimize the video window at startup.
