linphone doesn't work with bluetooth headsets

linphone was working fine with my bluetooth headsets a year ago on saucy. unfortunately that stopped working with new saucy updates even before trusty came out, and hasn't worked under on either. here on vivid, my bluetooth headsets are once again able to pair, be set as Headset Service, and even work fine with gmail (via firefox via google chat). but i'd like to use linphone again..

got bluetooth working with linphone by purging pulseaudio&libpulsedsp and redefining pcm.!default in /etc/asound.conf
