Bug Description

Ubuntu 14.10
The system proposed me a lot of updates. I accepted. It began to work, and then displayed the message saying it could not upgrade lilypond.

BTW, the Ubuntu 14.10 version has been automatically proposed to me as a LTS one (I do insist: LTS, I did not ask for development versions) as I had the version 12, and unfortunately, I accepted. But now, trying to using my computer is a nightmare. A lot of applications I have to use crash very often or simply do not work anymore (LyX, Anjuta, SciLab, Hugin, Lucky Backup, ...). When I write a paper with LyX, I have to save my work on a USB key every 2 minutes (when LyX crashes, even the emergency file is corrupted).

Is there a way to go back to a stable version that works?

Here's the info I got:

Could not install '/var/cache/apt/archives/lilypond-doc_2.18.0-1_all.deb'

The upgrade will continue but the '/var/cache/apt/archives/lilypond-doc_2.18.0-1_all.deb' package may not be in a working state. Please consider submitting a bug report about it.
