lilo seems in use and failed on call by update-initramfs.

You have installed and configured lilo. But it seems your /etc/lilo.conf is misconfigured!
AND you have installed and configured grub2 (grub-pc) which run without an error.

The best way is to deinstall (purge) lilo!
